This is my "junkie journal." I am a high-functioning Vicodin addict, also addicted to (but not using) Ambien. In my other world, I'm a married, college-educated, middle-classed, ~~employed~~ para-professional with 3 million reasons to not be an addict, and only one little white piece of heaven on the other side of the coin.
